Clinton Hill’s vibe places somewhere between a low-key urban village and a sleepy upstate college town. Myrtle Avenue and Fulton Street — at the neighborhood's northern and southern edges, respectively are its busiest commercial thoroughfares, leaving the blocks in between unusually serene by New York City standards. When it comes to dining out, Clinton Hill has its share of can’t-miss cuisine.
Its substantial platter of choices spills over in both the Bed-Stuy and Fort Greene directions, as well as across Atlantic Avenue into Prospect Heights. Going farther? The neighborhood has stops on the G train at Classon and Clinton-Washington avenues, as well as A/C service at (a separate) Clinton-Washington station and even more lines of LIRR included at the nearby Atlantic Terminal.
